This is Roger Hind’s return performance
to Chequer Mead after his sell out concert last
May. Tonight Roger will pay his tribute to
the great George Gershwin with his own arrangements
of his most popular songs. Guest vocalists
Pam Dabell & Gary Wright will include old favourites
including The Man I Love, Let’s Call The
Whole Thing Off and Summertime. Enjoy
over twenty marvelous compositions brought to life
by Roger Hind recounting Gershwin’s life and
how the numbers came to be written. This concert,
in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice to help them
continue their outstanding work in our community,
is one not to be missed!
